Donating $100.00 per meeting which takes place 4 times per year
Making a donation whether or not you attend the meeting NO LATER THAN the Friday, a week following the meeting
Making the donation through the CANADA HELPS page SET UP BY 100 Women CYR or by cheque
♥ Member in good standing means you have attended at least one meeting and made your donation.
Nominations
♥ Any member can nominate a charity (after they have attended one meeting and made their donation). ♥ The nomination form can be found on our website under “FORMS”. Nominating members must get it completed in conjunction with the charity’s executive director. ♥ Check out our FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS for charity eligibility as well as process.
Meetings
♥ Meetings are conducted from 7-8 p.m. sharp. ♥ Members have the option to come early and socialize (either in person or online). ♥ Two (2) nomination forms are drawn at the beginning of each meeting ♥ Each of the two (2) nominating members has 5 minutes to tell us why their charity should receive the funds. There is then a 5 minute question and answer period for each. ♥ Each member in good standing, votes online or on paper ballots.* ♥ Ties will be decided by another vote. ♥ If a tie persists, the membership will vote (by paper or online ballot) to either:
randomly select one of the tied organizations by draw
divide the group donation equally between the tied organizations
♥The previous meeting’s successful recipient gives a 5-minute report on how the funds we donated were used.
Charity Consideration
♥ An organization not selected at one meeting may be submitted again at a subsequent meeting. ♥ A successful organization is not eligible for future consideration but the nominating member may submit the name of another organization at future meetings.

♥ We keep members updated via email, our Facebook and Instagram page at 100womencyr and the “member only” Facebook page.

These teams have only ONE vote amongst them. It is up to the teams to advise 100+ Women CYR which team member has the vote prior to each meeting.
