Members (or teams) who have signed the Commitment Form, attended at least one meeting, and are in good standing are eligible to nominate a local organization. To nominate, members must complete the nomination form and submit it no later than the Sunday before the meeting.
At the meeting, all submitted nominations are placed into a basket for a random draw, and two organizations are selected. The nominating members will then present a 5-minute case for why their nominated organization should receive the donation, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.
We strongly encourage members to participate by nominating deserving local charitable organizations in need. Please note that if your nomination form is drawn, you must be present at the meeting; otherwise, another form will be selected.
After the presentations, all members in attendance (one representative per team) will vote via paper ballot. The votes are then tabulated, and the organization with the most votes will receive the donation for that meeting.
